About this artwork
In my work of art, I fuse metal into a sculptural unit that emphasizes the strength and grace of the forms. Each figure represents individuality and yet the inseparable bond. They bring an energy of solidarity and connection to each villa. The 3 sisters describes the relationship between siblings. From the oldest sibling, who can and must fight for everything, followed by the second, who has it easier in this relationship. However, when the third…
comes along, the middle one gradually falls into "forgetfulness" and is pushed out by the youngest and therefore most spoiled (baby of the family). Nevertheless, this sibling bond is inseparably connected and sticks together.
