Michael Rehr-Hoffmann, born in 1957, is a German artist who studied communication design at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts. For more than 30 years, he worked as a graphic designer in various fields of advertising and public relations. After his professional career, he retired and began painting again in 2016. A main theme of his works is the still life, in which each object has a meaning and wants to tell the viewer something. But people, both individually and in groups, also play a central role in his art.
