About this artwork
At work, three blue stripes enter into a color-diffuse complex color surface. The ultramarine stripes become a bit brighter upwards. For the color of the "background" an iron oxide pigment was used. Here the fabulas are applied in several layers. It is almost reminiscent of a rusty sheet metal.
The blue stripes shine through the color contrast. They are like a deep blue sky just before the night. The relationship with nature, which is not depicted,… is important to the artist. The picture is like a poetic-colored note of concrete nature experiences. The colors are made of pigments.
