About this artwork
The image consists of a composition of horizontal blue stripes floating in front of a diffuse background. The shades of blue, essentially ultramarine, are slightly different. The paint was applied in many layers. It has an intense color atmosphere. The picture appears flat at first, but the "horizon" can also create an illusion of depth.
