About this artwork
The sculpture "Kastanienkoenig" has a dynamic shape that is most reminiscent of a vortex form. It was made out of a piece of chestnut wood by hand. The wood shows traces of an invaded mushroom, which makes the structure interesting. Looking at sculpture is less about interpreting than experiencing powerful dynamics.
