About this artwork
Although the artist likes to work in large format, such simple color field paintings arise as poetic reflections of nature. Also in this picture no concrete lake was a role model. The picture came in a long process of working with color. The ultramarine strip is the main element in the picture. The background is rather dark at the top, which is breezy and complex in color, and it is quite possible to associate a landscape. The colors (made from pigments)…
were applied in several layers. The picture has a pleasant unobtrusive atmosphere and is an optical treat. It is best framed and possibly provided with a passpartout.
