About this artwork
This is the darkest, but also most colorful work of the series of squares. The background in front of which the square seems to float has a diffuse intresting color and appears colored gray. The red of the square is very strong and probably the most similar to a crimson. The artist prepares the colors himself from pigments. The colors are never used "pure". As a result, the color shades are vielvieleltiger.
The picture is expressive but appears… quiet despite the intense colors. It is an atmospheric image that radiates into every room.
