About this artwork
The "tower" is a slender marble sculpture. The marble has a slight yellowish-pink color. The rhythmic figure is fluid-organic. I always try to breathe life into the stone without working figurally. The actually hard stone is supposed to have an organic-plastic effect. The title is only one of many possible associations and does not play a major role.
The Fom esthet in a tedious work process. I sometimes use machines for grinding. Otherwise, I usually… work with pointed chisel and faeustel.
