About this artwork
The Venus horn consists of a piece of birch wood and a piece of copper. The birch as a tree and the copper as a metal were assigned to Venus in traditional natural teachings, hence the title. It is a small, elegantly poetic sculpture that describes an arc in space. Viewed simply as an aesthetic object or with associations, it offers numerous possible interpretations.
