About this artwork
In spaces of inner tension, the gaze upon a wallpaper pattern, the desire to live, the love of life. In this work, I captured a vibrant energy with powerful orange and red tones that emerges from the deep blue. The abstract forms reflect emotional tensions and spontaneous impulses. Using acrylic, oil pastel, and graffiti techniques, I wanted to depict the explosion of emotions.

Michaela Kuhl is a painter who works primarily in watercolor and oil techniques. She is a survivor of the 2004 tsunami, incorporating her experiences into her artistic development.
