About this artwork

Exchange is the most mature artwork I've created in a while. It follows my formula of a physical object and a video telling the story.
This time, it's partly a documentation of the death in my family, partly a meditation on the existence of physical matter and the implications of it.
The title made it obvious: it had to become another e-commerce art piece by me. Allowing someone to patronise me in exchange for a… portion of an intimate memento not only further contextualises this work but also grounds it deeply into my body of work.
