Michel Brouand is an award-winning French painter who has exhibited nationally and in China. His art is also part of the Bank of France’s permanent collection. Brouand’s artistic expression finds its source from meetings with poets, fellow painters, readings, memories and journeys. His paintings translate a reflection of reality. Seemingly abstract, they are punctuated with recurring signs, figures and writings. For his creation process, he favours acrylics, fatty chalks and collage.
