About this artwork
I spent several summers on vacation on Île Verte in Quebec and painted many of its magnificent landscapes, including the very colorful cliffs. This painting is a collage of several canvases, each representing a different layer of the cliffs. Tiny flowers grow among the rocks, and I wanted to capture this type of landscape, so specific to Île Verte.
