Michel Jacot is a determined German artist who became a painter during a courageous rehabilitation period, after having battled serious illness for 15 years. Developing his own technique, he paints on paper, canvas, chipboard and cardboard with oil and his own mixed media. Jacot's paintings propose interesting colour combinations, strong intention and inventive brush strokes, and the energy and spirit of his optimistic character is consistently communicated.
