In this work I experimented with a collage technique to portray a complex feeling. The layers of paper represent different aspects of being that overlap and connect. Mysterious moments are captured, inviting viewers to interpret their own story. This work will awaken curiosity and bring a unique atmosphere to any space.

Michel Meyer is an award-winning artist who has extensively exhibited in his native Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Norway. The painter and draftsman’s works infuse abstract with the figurative. His works are a reaction to the sublime, the archaic, the grotesque, the transitory, and the psychic. His artistic approach combines mixed techniques and materials, blending elements of collage, painting, and drawing with acrylics, oils, colored pencils and India ink on canvas or paper.
