In my collage I carefully mix selected excerpts to create a dynamic composition. A wide variety of emotions and stories merge here and invite the viewer to make their own interpretations and connections. It's about the contrast, the diversity of life and the intensity that is present in every piece of paper. Every corner of the collage radiates energy that is intended to flow into every room it hangs in.

Michel Meyer is an award-winning artist who has extensively exhibited in his native Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Norway. The painter and draftsman’s works infuse abstract with the figurative. His works are a reaction to the sublime, the archaic, the grotesque, the transitory, and the psychic. His artistic approach combines mixed techniques and materials, blending elements of collage, painting, and drawing with acrylics, oils, colored pencils and India ink on canvas or paper.
