About this artwork
My art fuses acrylic, oil pastel and colored pencil to create a vivid depiction of human emotion and movement. I wanted to create a work that radiates energy and inner strength that inspires a sense of courage and inspiration in every home. It is a piece that asks the viewer to imagine the passion and fire that burns within all of us.

Michel Meyer is an award-winning artist who has extensively exhibited in his native Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Norway. The painter and draftsman’s works infuse abstract with the figurative. His works are a reaction to the sublime, the archaic, the grotesque, the transitory, and the psychic. His artistic approach combines mixed techniques and materials, blending elements of collage, painting, and drawing with acrylics, oils, colored pencils and India ink on canvas or paper.
