About this artwork
In my work I passionately intertwine acrylic and colored pencils into an emotional kaleidoscope. The dynamics on paper reflect complex emotional worlds. It is a visual poem that expresses the vitality and intensity of life. My goal was to create a piece that would energetically challenge and inspire viewers to make a bold statement in any space.

Michel Meyer is an award-winning artist who has extensively exhibited in his native Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Norway. The painter and draftsman’s works infuse abstract with the figurative. His works are a reaction to the sublime, the archaic, the grotesque, the transitory, and the psychic. His artistic approach combines mixed techniques and materials, blending elements of collage, painting, and drawing with acrylics, oils, colored pencils and India ink on canvas or paper.
