About this artwork
In my art I combine acrylic, collage, Indian ink and colored pencils to create a vibrant expression that plays a melody of colors and shapes. The work on paper is a symphony of visual poetry, inspired by the tension and dynamics of a 'sound check'. With every line and every splash of color I want to reinforce the rhythm and energy in the viewer's space.

Michel Meyer is an award-winning artist who has extensively exhibited in his native Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Norway. The painter and draftsman’s works infuse abstract with the figurative. His works are a reaction to the sublime, the archaic, the grotesque, the transitory, and the psychic. His artistic approach combines mixed techniques and materials, blending elements of collage, painting, and drawing with acrylics, oils, colored pencils and India ink on canvas or paper.
