About this artwork
In this work the artist creates a serene, sweet and reassuring figure with intense but not gaudy colors, which hovers elegantly in space. She is a female Guardian Angel, a symbol of good, on her head she has a snake to represent evil. It is she in the foreground who with her sweetness turns out to be the winner in the eternal struggle between good and evil.
Michela Cosimi
Italy
« What interests me is human sensitivity, man, his inner world, his emotions, his thoughts, his childhood, his becoming, his being born, living, and dying. »
Michela Cosimi is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany. Expressionism is the main theory behind her work. Individualized expressionism gives ample space for Cosimi's imagination. She employs acrylics and oils on canvas in her vibrant compositions. In addition, she also creates digital pieces directly with her fingers on an IPad, as if it were a palette.
