About this artwork
Spring 2020 , North of England , should go down in history as one of the most beautiful experienced in many years. Its beauty made more poignant as it accompanied a universal lock down due to Coronavirus. As movements were restricted to one outing per day, previously undiscovered beauty was found close to my home in the city. Kersal Wetlands, Reddish Vale and Clayton Vale revealed an unexpected splendour. The sky shone clear blue from dawn…
to dusk, and previously unseen colours now sprung to life in a world shut down.
