About this artwork
"Memoranda" is a modern, multilayered, abstract landscape of simple organic and geometric forms, gestural lines, and positive energy. Its black and white palette is tranquil, yet its movement is energetic, upbeat, and intriguing. "Memoranda" honors the natural world and our connections to it. Full size is 80H x 72W inches, leaving… ample canvas (3 inches on each side) to stretch on deep stretcher bars to its 74H x 66W x 2D image as shown. It is signed and back and ships in a tube. This is especially safe for larger works. Rolled canvas can be easily stretched (placed onto wooden stretcher bars) by a local framer.

Michelle Louis is a full-time American painter based near Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, and included in corporate and private collections throughout the United States and worldwide, including the National Gallery of Costa Rica. Artist and naturalist trained in studio art, graphic design, and landscape architecture, Michelle Louis's studio extends to her yard, where she nurtures an edible landscape. She received her BA from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
