About this artwork
I was out one evening with some friends playing a quiz competition in a bar. I was quite pensive trying to sort some things out, understanding myself better, that's why the title is Negotiating with myself, I think we are in a continual negotiation with ourselves to make decisions, to make the right ones, we get upset if we don't do what we are supposed to to or what we want to do, I was listening to Jordan Peterson lectures at the time while working.…

Mihai Cotiga is a Romanian painter whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands. One of the main themes represented in his art is the transcendental, as well as archetypes and ancient stories. Cotiga believes that meaning is the most important quality in art, after which follows beauty. Oscillating between realism, expressionism and the abstract, his diverse compositions are created using oils on canvas.
