About this artwork
The Scene series captures moments that quietly move the heart — scenes where chance and inevitability coexist.
Through the layering of color, each work reveals a silent resonance between the visible and the invisible, the fleeting and the eternal.
Colors overlap unintentionally, yet the result feels inevitable — as if guided by something beyond control.
In each painting, traces of memory, emotion, and time emerge, creating a sense of stillness that… invites quiet reflection.
In this work, I attempted to create a multi-layered space on a flat surface by layering shades of light and hues. Rather than considering pre-planning or calculation, I let my freedom and intuition go free, and let my accumulated memories and experiences in my body guide me in creating the textures and tones of the work.
By layering visual elements, my works represent both physical and psychological space, aiming to create an experience where the viewer travels between these dimensions.
