About this artwork
This work is a tribute to the tenacity of human relationships. Two telephones face each other, intimate and close, yet connected by a cable tangled in the chaos of daily life. The image captures that universal truth of our coexistence: being physically close doesn't always mean being emotionally connected. Sometimes, the message gets lost, knotted, and complicated.
However, the work doesn't speak of rupture, but of necessity. Despite the tangle,… the line hasn't been cut. The cable remains, resilient, reminding us that communication, with all its misunderstandings and distances, is the nervous system that keeps us alive. It's a piece that invites us to look at our own "knots" with vitality, understanding that continuing to pick up the phone, day after day, is the most essential act of love there is.
