In “The Gold of Motion,” Mikhail Mishinsky continues one of the central threads of his artistic exploration — the profound bond between horse and rider, a dialogue where physical strength meets spiritual intuition.
Here, gold is not merely a decorative accent but a symbol of victory — not the outward triumph of competition, but an inner victory over fear, doubt, and time itself. The golden fragments that slice through the dark composition act as… flashes of revelation — moments when movement becomes transcendence.
The composition oscillates between energy and form: the rider’s figure seems to emerge from light, dissolving and reforming within the vortex of painterly strokes. This interplay evokes a sense of transition — from the material to the metaphysical.
In this work, Mishinsky suggests that true unity between human and horse is not born from dominance, but from trust — from the fragile balance between control and freedom.
