About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the juxtaposition of freedom and entrapment. Using India ink, I captured the stark outline of a door—a portal both inviting yet barred. The flowing hair emanating from beneath signifies the complex tangle of emotions and thoughts that bind us, despite apparent pathways to liberation. This artwork speaks to the struggle between the seen and unseen forces in our lives, evoking a deep contemplative state in any space it inhabits.
« Limitless, lost in spaceless and timeless, I create pieces of art that I know somehow are even beyond me. »
