Is part of a trilogy called "Art or Perish".
The work takes place in three pieces, two of them of the same size, this one with a slight difference, yet the same height. They represent my career as an artist, and perhaps extrapolated to the course, many times, of the human being.
This one is the third and last of the trilogy. It is the tree already firm in its roots, with a moon, gap, insurmountable emptiness, around "La piel" ("The Skin"), poem by… Bertolt Brecht, displayed in the veils of its branches ... the unbearable lightness of being, and the lack of structure with which we are concived, with which it has to be done, or not, throughout our life. Hole around the Real (the Real of jouissance in psychoanalysis), that which cannot be named, if only hardly, letting itself be captured a pinch with Art.
« Limitless, lost in spaceless and timeless, I create pieces of art that I know somehow are even beyond me. »
