A series of sumi ink on cotton paintings inspired by Bulgarian profit, Baba Vanga’s predictions for 2130 …a return to Plato's Atlantis. The fluid nature of sumi allows for an organic process, a dance between artist and materials - allowing both focus and freedom to manifest in an intimate conversation.

Milan DelVecchio is an emerging American painter, draftsman and textile artist with international exposure. Though she finds inspiration in a multitude of sources, they can generally be defined by four categories: the deeply psychological, escapist or post-apocalyptic, anomalies in nature, and meandering, unpretentious doodling. Her body of work is inherently diverse and ever-changing, though a sense of whimsy accompanies each expression and invites each viewer to enjoy the power of imagination.
