Credentials
- Famous Artist
Mimmo Rotella, an Italian painter, is renowned for her transformative use of urban advertising posters as her primary medium. She pioneered décollage, tearing and reassembling layers of posters to create dynamic, textural works aligned with Nouveau Réalisme and Ultra-Lettrism. Her art vibrates with raw energy and nostalgia, evoking both the fleeting glamour and the chaos of post-war urban life.
