About this artwork
The representation refers to a dual modern man who is different from the representation. The expression, not the face of the first impression that ostensibly represents the appearance, has different faces, and refers to the appearance of one's subjective emotions or ideas. I record the people who faced me in a society where we don't know each other in this description.
Everyone recorded in this manual has their own barcode. It's a human ear and… fingerprints. Each of you, me and you, has a lot to think about, like a barcode on a product, each fingerprint has a different shape, and the same fingerprint is very rare, and it doesn't change in a small wound, and this uniqueness is like a face to us. I share with you this manual with your bar code, including myself.
Unlike the works presented through existing stamping techniques, this work brings a stamping mold (aluminum) and communicates with the audience through a rich three-dimensional feeling and simple image.

« I convey the everyday, typical appearance of modern people. »
Min Mun is an exciting young South Korean sculptor who has exhibited his work internationally. He predominately explores the inherent duality that exists within and even drives modern-day individuals, simplifying human figures and focusing on the essential movements of body parts. Postures, moods, and even facial expressions are clearly communicated in Mun's structures despite their seemingly simple appearance, allowing each viewer to make careful observations about how people present to society, about how they may try to hide, and about what their body gives away even when they try to.
