“The Return of the King” is a sculptural work from Minseok Kang’s Ice Cream Series, created using leftover acrylic paint fragments and tissue scraps from the artist’s painting process. The cone is formed from dried paint pieces, while the top is composed of various discarded materials, coated with resin for permanence and structural integrity. Supported by a stainless steel stand, the piece transforms remnants of past gestures into a majestic form…
