About this artwork
Backbone comes from the deepest state of the body.
There is no worldly gorgeous, deep, simple and clear spirit.
It's a kind of backbone to refuse what doesn't belong to you.
To respect for life is a kind of backbone.
It is also a kind of backbone to respect vulnerable groups rather than flatter the upper and bully the lower.

« Art is to improve and purify the hearts and souls. The core value of art is to promote the progress of human society. »
Min Zou is a Chinese artist, and studied in China and Europe. Born in Hunan, China.
As an artist, she have a Bachelor of Engineering and a MA. She enjoys the abstract theoretical thinking. Her works generally come from the accumulation of knowledge, the love of nature, the love of natural science, the exploration of humanities and social science, and the philosophical insights. So, it can be said: most of her inspiration comes from her thoughts and thinking.
To create new works, Min has traveled to many challenging regions, such as Xinjiang, Tibet, Gansu and Inner Mongolia. There she experienced the desolation of the desert and the physical strain of high-altitude oxygen deprivation, and these experiences have served as the inspiration for many of her pieces. Meanwhile, she sublimates the viewpoint of art. Now, she appears to be doing art, in fact, it is the sublimation of thought, the realm of life, and the realm of thought.
