It's about a state of reflection on water at an indefinite period of time. The warm colors of the plankton layer below the water surface combined with the cool colors of the trees silhouetted against the water surface, along with the light glinting off a few reed branches, all make the space in the painting exude a sense of beauty. magically beautiful
