Minja Nikolcin is an experienced Serbian artist whose work has been exhibited nationally. His oil on canvas paintings are characterized by bright colors, simplified forms and gestural brushstrokes reminiscent of German Expressionism. His artistic practice privileges the communication of an interior emotional world over reproducing reality on the canvas. His works are motifs of everyday life rendered in a surreal, animated style.
