About this artwork
Harstad is a quiet reflection on the essence of stillness, space, and memory. Inspired by the raw atmosphere of the North, it captures the feeling of standing before an open, frozen seascape — where time slows and silence becomes almost physical. I worked with restrained layers of white, muted blacks, and traces of yellow to suggest fading structures, distant lights, and the blurred boundaries between land, water, and sky.
