Mireia Cifuentes is an award-winning Spanish artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in France, Germany, Luxembourg, and Italy. Describing her artistic expression as responding to a vital need, she believes that contact with colors and matter gives beauty, meaning, and order to the world she perceives. In her works, Cifuentes pursues moments of meeting with the unknown, while also intimately familiar, in which the intention disappears and only the image remains.
