About this artwork
In this piece, I poured raw emotion into each brushstroke, capturing the vulnerability and yearning of open hands reaching out. Using acrylics, I fused realism with a touch of abstract energy to evoke connection and hope. This artwork will infuse your space with a powerful sense of empathy and human strength, inviting reflection and warmth every time you see it. The moment when you miss someone so much, you try to keep them in your thoughts, try…
to grab every moment together.
Mirjana Antonijevic
Serbia
Mirjana Antonijevic, an architect by training with a Master’s degree, passionately channels her background into visual art using ink, collage, and acrylics. She masterfully combines precise line work in ink for animal portraits with layered acrylic abstraction, creating vivid landscapes that blend architecture and nature. Through her unique style—part drawing, part painting—she seeks to preserve memories and emotions, each artwork acting as a heartfelt visual keepsake or a singular, artful postcard.
