Mo Kelly is an Irish painter who has exhibited in the United States and Ireland. Much of her work explores the contrast between light and dark places with illuminated objects highlighted with metallic hues. Irish folklore and fairy tales also figure predominantly, representing the thin veil between our world and the unseen. With a figurative style that features abstract elements, Kelly works in mixed media, acrylic, gold, silver, bronze and precious metal pigment paint, ink and pencil.
