About this artwork
In this work, I explored expressionism and metaphysics through semi-abstract forms. Combining oil paint and fabric, I depicted a colorful crowd of silhouettes dancing and interacting, symbolizing diversity, human unity, and a sense of gratitude toward the Universe. I covered the painting with a scrap of fabric that I had used to make light fixtures during 2020, and harmoniously painted the empty spaces. Each figure, animated by bright colors, invites…
us to reflect on the connection between individuals despite their apparent differences. This painting is a celebration of collective joy and gratitude toward life.
