About this artwork
In this painting, I capture a moment suspended between presence and reflection. I depict a figure in front of a glass door, caught in a moment of expectation and introspection. The interplay of reflections creates a dialogue between interior and exterior, reality and perception, leaving the viewer free to interpret the subject's emotional narrative.
I create the work using acrylic on canvas, using textured and dynamic brushstrokes. I work with color… contrasts between warm and cool tones to create depth and atmosphere, while layering colors and luminous nuances enhance the reflections of the glass and the sense of movement in the scene.
