Monica Zarba is an artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited natioanlly and in the United States. She believes that it is only by recognizing of one's self through emotions that it is possible to find happiness and one's place in the world. Zarba's striking abstractions explore the dark sides of the past, the present in living moments, and hope of the future. She creates using acrylics, oils, chalk, resin, and cold wax on canvas.
