About this artwork
The abstract work consists of three horizontally stacked color bars resting on a textured base of white filler. The lower area, in warm beige, forms a calm foundation, above which lies a broken, fragmented central stripe whose reduced color palette creates a visual pause. The upper bar, in vibrant orange-yellow, adds a powerful, upward accent and opens the viewer's gaze upward.
The work plays with stasis and tension, with surface and rhythm. The… linear tripartite division evokes horizons, layers, and atmospheric transitions. The deliberate break in the central area undermines the clarity of the composition, lending it a quiet yet striking dynamism.
