About this artwork
A calming walk along the Lech. Between Pitzling and Landsberg am Lech there is the famous "Devil's Gorge" with its crystal-clear waterfall. The warm sunlight shines between the trees, you can hear the waterfall and the whispering of the leaves. The Lech rushes, you can see it. A mystical, fairytale-like place full of secrets.
I painted with acrylic paints in layers to give the picture a special transparency, depth and lightness. If you look closely,… you will notice that I have included chance in addition to the skillful and conscious application of paint. In my work, acrylic paints merge to create a realistic yet abstract forest that captures the energy and tranquility of nature. The play of light and shadow, shapes and lines reflect my connection to the forest and its beauty. This painting brings a lively, calming presence to every home, a piece of forest love for the soul.
