About this artwork
"Rita: the second portrait" is a painting that captivates and mesmerizes, blending a classical approach to portraiture with geometric and abstract forms. The use of acrylic paste, including pearlescent and metallic hues, adds a three-dimensional quality that invites interaction through a gentle touch. Carefully arranged patterns and a dynamic interplay of forms emphasize the complexity of her presence, giving the artwork a multidimensional character.… Contrasting colors and structural details enhance the expression, making the composition deeply engaging. This piece is not only an exploration of beauty and femininity but also an invitation into an atmosphere of magnetism, depth, and contemplation.
« Art gives me the opportunity to express myself and my emotions in a very ecstatic and colorful, crazy way. »
The artist was born in Opole and studied at the Institute of Art, part of Opole University's Faculty of History and Pedagogy, from 2010 to 2015, earning a master's degree in art. The artist has recently focused on classical art, drawing from the grace of ancient marble sculptures and the depth of mythology, while also incorporating the dynamic energy of pop art. This combination gives the artist a wide spectrum of subject matter to explore. The chosen technique for this style is unconventional; the artist exclusively utilizes paints derived from linseed or safflower oil to depict figures, purposefully abstaining from superfluous solvents. The sole medium employed is pure walnut oil, serving both as a substance for mixing paint during the creative process and as a natural cleansing agent for brushes.
