About this artwork
Highly textured Acrylic /Ink/Molding paste on cotton canvas.
This is a continuation of a series that began in 2016 and continued into the year 2018, very different for her as far as colors go. This color direction is very relaxing and calming for the viewer as well as the artist. She loves working with the texture as the painting takes on a life of its own.
She tends to see a lot of human figures in this series, but of course the collector will… be attracted for the feeling it transfers to them as an individual.
The painting comes ready to hang with Certificate.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
