having spent 10 weeks at an Artist Residency in Chianti, Tuscany, she had no mandate other than total creative and channeling freedom as she picked up the energy from her surroundings. All her work was photographed in the environment in which she painted. PATHS followed her painting (DESIRE) . This one was painted in the 1000 year old structure… which serves as a studio as well as for exhibitions at La Macina San Cresci, Chianti, Tuscany .Highly textured, very pale grey background. Gold paths that have no beginning and no end.
I do offer commission work specific to a collector’s energy field.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
