« Trying to tickle the depths of souls to awaken beings to their own gaze. »
Monique Lowy is an award-winning artist whose works have been exhibited in Canada, the United States, as well as in her native France. The central themes inherent in her art relate to life in general, through the 'big questions' or everyday moments: 'a light, a look, an attitude, a sentence, or a wound'. Lowy's style is figurative because she believes that the representation of humanity brings humans closer to one another.
