About this artwork
The cat's impassivity in the face of pain gives it a great charisma revealing its strength of wisdom. Stoic yes, but not only that. Its strange claws mechanically twist its mustaches into accordions: Doesn't its strength of resistance hide something else?

« Humanize animals to disanimate humans. »
Moogly is an experienced artist from France whose work has been featured in exhibitions internationally. With a grandfather who was an illustrator, Moogly was inspired to draw from a young age and defined his current style in semi-abstract animal paintings using acrylic, lacquer, and resin. His work is characterized by the use of monochromatic color palettes and rich textures built up on the surface in splatters.
