About this artwork
Ultra-crazy movements of a porcupine on the verge of burnout evolving in an overheated apocalyptic environment echoing the terrible fires that occurred massively in Australia in 2019. An almost epileptic expression of stress that has overcome distress. Feeling of exasperation and of anger at such an additional disaster.

« Humanize animals to disanimate humans. »
Moogly is an experienced artist from France whose work has been featured in exhibitions internationally. With a grandfather who was an illustrator, Moogly was inspired to draw from a young age and defined his current style in semi-abstract animal paintings using acrylic, lacquer, and resin. His work is characterized by the use of monochromatic color palettes and rich textures built up on the surface in splatters.
